Google Webmaster Tools has been in exsistance for over 10 years but in May 2015 they decided to rebrand and call it Google Search Console. This decision to rebrand was made to reflect their wider user base and the broad range of roles dependent upon Search and Search Engine Optimisation.

Google Search Console is always the first thing I setup when creating a new site. It is probably the most important tool for Webmasters http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
